Purpose

The Manage Stakeholder Engagement process involves communicating and working with stakeholders to meet their needs and expectations, resolve issues, and foster appropriate involvement throughout the project. It builds relationships to support project success by promoting active participation and collaboration.

  • Project Management Plan – Especially the stakeholder engagement, communications, and resource management plans.
  • Project Documents – Includes change log, issue log, lessons learned register, and stakeholder register.
  • Enterprise Environmental Factors (EEFs) – Organizational culture, communication tools, political climate, and stakeholder availability.
  • Organizational Process Assets (OPAs) – Engagement templates, communication procedures, and historical stakeholder data.

  • Project Document Updates – Revisions to issue log, stakeholder register, and lessons learned register to reflect new insights or engagement shifts.
